Month 8 Update

Lucy says "Hi" with a thick Southern drawl when we open the door to retrieve her from the nursery.

She says "Mama" pretty frequently but when I try to teach her to say "Dada" she laughs at me like I'm shooting frogs out of my ears.

She walks all around the apartment if you give her a little assistance.

She eats a jar of stage 2 fruit & 3 tablespoons of cereal/grains for breakfast (plus 8oz of formula).
She eats a jar of stage 2 veggies for lunch (plus 8oz of formula).
She eats a jar of stage 2 chicken & veggies and 3 more tablespoons of cereal for dinner (plus 8oz of formula).

She's crazy about carrots, peas and green beans. She doesn't like papaya (yet).

She laughs at her Teddybear Workshop Pooh and she's enamored with her green soccer beanie bear and her Abby Cadabby.

We read about 5 bilingual Spanish/English books every day and we're looking for German/English.

Oh, and when the food label says "Try to incorporate your child's feeding with family mealtimes" it's not saying that because it's feasible by any stretch of the imagination... they just want to laugh while watching you struggle.

P.S. Tracy will post her eight month photo tonight. (Right, Tracy? :) )

Awwww, we need to come see her! She's getting to be such a big girl! I can't believe it. I showed your blog to my parents when we were in Charlotte so they could see how often Lucy is smiling and laughing!=) Miss you guys!
