Lots of Growth

General Observations:
She sings songs on demand. ("Hey Lucy... Wanna sing me a song?")
... See video below ...

She pretends to read her books aloud.

A few days ago as we came to the end of one of her books she said in a sweet singsong voice "The end."

She played the abc song continuously on both the LeapFrog caterpillar and the Fisher Price snail. They're both different tempos but thank goodness they were both in the same key!

Talking:
I think we are beyond counting words these days. We finally know first hand what it means when people say "children are like sponges."

Tree - Glen lets her touch the leaves on the tree every time we walk to the car.

Signing:
All done - ah, the old standard

Eat - now she says "eat" after we make the sign language symbol for eat (and she heads toward her high chair)

Working on Milk, Thank-you, More, Mama and Help

Exploring:
Turning light switches off and on

Loves being in her room to play (books, reading at her table (climbing in her chair), sitting in her chair

Eating LOTS of different foods:
grapes, pineapples, salsa, spicy refried beans, chick peas, all kinds of pasta, tomatoes, guacamole
