Lucille ("Lucy"): Tracy's daddy used to call her Lucille McGillicuddy when she was a little girl because she had red hair. My mom and I read The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis when I was a little boy. Lucy is the brave little girl in that story.
Joy: I had never really experienced joy until I heard that she was on her way. She's my joy.

Old Habits Die Hard
After 19 years of a new niece or nephew nearly every year (17 total between Tracy and me) I'm pretty used to being called Uncle Glen...
...even by my inner monologue. I'm thinking things like "Hang on baby! Uncle Glen's bringing you something to eat" or "Good morning sweetie! Uncle Glen's gonna fix your poopies."
(Yes. I just called dirty diapers "poopies.")
